    Parker Chase Inks Chastain Motorsports Deal for 2015New Braunfels, Texas – December 31, 2014 – After testing in the open wheel formula car ranks late in 2014, New Braunfels, Texas driver Parker Chase is set to start his move up the motorsports ladder. Inking a deal this week with Jay Howard and his Motorsports Driver Development program and Chastain Motorsports, Chase will see action in the F1600 Formula F Championship Series as well as national level karting throughout North America in 2015.

    Chastain Ends F1600 Season with Podium RunNoblesville, IN – It was the first weekend as a three-car team for Chastain Motorsports in the F1600 Formula F Championship Series, with the squad noting a podium finish and a solid weekend effort to close out the 2014 season at Watkins Glen International.

    To close out the F1600 season in round 14 on Sunday, Thompson race winner Sam Chastain found the lead early in the 12-lap race in his No. 27 Mygale/Honda. Chastain would lead the most laps of the race but lost out after taking the white flag, as the draft worked against him as teammates slipstreamed by on the back straight to the checkered flags.

    Chastain Expands to Three Cars for Season Finale at Watkins Glen

    Andy LewisNoblesville, IN – Chastain Motorsports will expand to a three-car team for the F1600 Formula F Championship Series finale at Watkins Glen, October 10-12, as Andy (Andrew) Lewis will strap into the team’s new No. 28 Mygale/Honda entry. Both Sam Chastain and Evan Mehan are coming off their first wins of 2014 when the Chastain squad swept both races at Thompson Speedway in Connecticut at the end of August.

    Chastain Motorsports will enter the No. 27, No. 28 and No. 29 cars at Watkins Glen, after starting the season with a single entry at Road Atlanta in April.

    Chastain Motorsports Sweeps Thompson

    Chastain Motorsports Sweeps ThompsonNoblesville, IN – Evan Mehan and Sam Chastain split a pair of victories, and gave Chastain Motorsports a full sweep of two F1600 Formula F Championship Series races at Thompson Speedway. Both took their first wins in F1600 competition, and Chastain Motorsports made it three on the season in 12 attempts.

    Mehan rocketed to the top of the time sheets in Friday’s practice sessions on Thompson’s brand new road course, running the fastest lap in the afternoon session ahead of teammate Chastain.

    Saturday morning had Mehan’s No. 29 picking up the pace even more as the driver took the pole during qualifying and took over the F1600 track record in the debut pro weekend on the new track.

    Chastain Conquers Thompson

    Sam ChastainThompson, CT – Sam Chastain protected the inside line into turn one and took his first F1600 Formula F Championship Series win with a decisive drive at Thompson Speedway in the No. 27 for Chastain Motorsports. Last lap contact promoted Garth Rickards to second after Jack Mitchell Jr. and Ayla Agren came together. Rickards still finished third in the Pelfrey Mygale/Honda.

    Chastain made it a full weekend sweep for his Chastain team following his teammate’s Saturday victory.

    “It was a tough race,” said Chastain, who has been fast all year. “We played it smart and ran our race and tried not to let people by.”
